1979 Suzuki GS 850

From 1976 to 1987, Suzuki produced its GS line of motorcycles. These motorcycles had air-cooled in-line DOHC engines with two or four cylinders, two valves per cylinder and displacements between 250 and 1000 cc. The four-cylinder variants are considered to be Universal Japanese Motorcycles. When introduced in 1976, Suzuki offered the GS400, GS550 and GS750 models.

The GS 850 first produced in 1979 have proven themselves to be particularly strong. The bike is easy to maintain and easy to accessorize. Features found on the GS850 that are attractive to the used motorcycle buyer include long lasting engine, large comfortable seat and low maintenance shaft drive.The GS850 offered CV carburetors, transistorized ignition, automatic cam chain tensioner, air assisted front forks, oil damped rear swing arm with five load settings and four damping adjustments, mag style wheels and quartz-halogen headlight.
