Honda CT110 “Postie Bike”

The Honda CT110 is a small motorcycle with a four stroke engine. They are well known in Australia due to their use by Australia Post as a delivery bike. This also makes them the highest selling motorcycle in the country.

CT-110s are well regarded for their extreme reliability, clutch less four speed gearboxes (centrifugal clutch) (which frees up the left hand for delivering mail) and their ability to withstand even the most notorious pizza delivery riders without a breakdown.

In Australia they can be seen in their hundreds on an annual ride from Sydney to Ayers Rock and back, a journey of more than 2000 miles (3200 km), which, despite their numbers, usually ensues without a single breakdown. Racing these motorcycles have become popular in Australia and riders go to extreme modifications for such a small bike to race in bathurst such as nitrous oxide kit, methanol powered and supercharger/turbo kits.
